Colin Farrell has told Sky News how he struggled to get to grips with the cockney accent for his latest film.
He plays ex-criminal Mitchel in gritty gangster flick London Boulevard alongside Keira Knightley.
He told Sky News: "Mitch, he's not all 'awight' mate.
"You know, he's a little bit more erudite.
"It was tricky. I had a good dialect coach."
Farrell's character gets a job protecting a reclusive actress, played by Knightley, who is under siege from the paparazzi.
But Ray Winstone steps in to try to lure Mitchel back into the gangster underworld.
London Boulevard is released in the UK on November 24.
